Shorncliffe Update.

The names of the first Canadians buried in Shorncliffe Military Cemetery are known, Circa 1858.

Training Area “A is now known.

So are the Units that Trained there.

The routes that the soldiers took to the training areas are known. Two of the sites, Tolsford Hill and a site at Elham are know to have remains of trenches and or fieldworks used by the Canadians.

Three areas where the Canadians dug trenches can now be identified.

Three of the names of three soldiers clubs are known

Decided Private Christian will be one of the four Canadians who served at Folkestone and survived the First World War will be mentioned in the guide.
